Policies & Procedures
Merinda has a number of policies and procedures in place which relate to areas such as Codes of Conduct, Financial Management, Team Selection, Coach appointment etc.

Human Resources
The College relies heavily on the unpaid work of volunteers and values their contribution highly. All volunteers are treated with respect and gratitude for the contributions that they make to the College.

Finance
Our College is a Not-for-Profit organisation. Care is taken to ensure that we have enough revenue to thrive in the elite space within which we compete and give our pupils and families great resources without putting an excess financial burden on our members.

Social Media
Social media is changing the way we communicate. At Merinda we use facebook, email, instagram and phones as methods of communication. This policy contains guidelines for the Merinda community to engage in social media use.

Codes of Conduct
In order to create a culture that is safe, encouraging and inclusive we have codes of conduct for all members of our community.

Communication
Communication is essential for sharing club news and information with our members. Our communication will be timely, appropriate and related to College business.

Committee
Merinda operates under the management of a Committee. The Committee’s role is to ensure the College meets its legal and financial obligations.

Child Safe
All children who are a part of the College have a right to feel and be safe. The welfare of the children in our care will always be our first priority and the College has a zero tolerance to child abuse. The College aims to create a child safe and child friendly environment where children feel safe and have fun and the College’s activities are always carried out in the best interests of the children.
